APPOLOGIES FROM KRISTINA ROSE MC (who was unable to appear on the night) "I offer my apologies for not putting in
an appearance - I have very bad flu and am in bed,
very upset not to be with you, as advertised. Here's to a great success this
evening raising money for two very worthwhile charities - Phoenix and Accuro, and wishing everyone a lot of fun"
SHEAMUS FROM REFUSE/ALL - for helping to organise the gig and design the flyers and agreeing to do some djing past his
bedtime sadly he was too ill on the night to DJ in person but left some excellent cds he had prepared earlier - thanks Shea.
ALEX FROM CONDITION DEAD - for also designing flyers and posters  JENNY GALLAGHER - for finding some excellent bands
        - TERMINAL DECLINE
& CHARRED HEARTS (sadly charred hearts were unable to make it on the evening due to last minute
probs, but lets hope they can make the next event as we’d love to hear them play) Thanks to all the bands - who played for free -
all played excellent sets and none wanted to do a merch stall as they didn’t want the money being detracted from the charities -
how nice! Every band very kindly donated their CDs and T-shirts for the raffle and tombola. SINDI - for very generously buying all
the items for the vegan Halloween hamper and refusing to accept payment for the £25 plus worth of goodies and helping sell
the tickets. The hamper was won by the very deserving Steve from BBP records
who bought £5 worth of tickets. BRUCE BUG
CENTRAL, HELEN & STEVE BBP, MARINA YOUNG, JENNY GALLAGHER AND
ADAM & DEB CHERREE - for helping man the
raffle and tombola stall. ALL THE BANDS WHO HAVE DONATED PRIZES FOR
THE RAFFLE AND TOMBOLA  AND A BIG
THANKS TO SCOTT for securing some limited edition and signed goods from the Business,
Last Resort and T-shirt Dave. Also to
STEVE BBP RECORDS who donated a limited edition Paranoid visions album on yellow vinyl with a rare test pressing (white
label) included (no 50 of 500) CHRIS LIBERATOR for djing the excellent old skool punk disco. I heard he didn’t crawl out of the
        venue until 4am as
the management were buying him drinks every 15mins just to keep him playing
ANDY, STEVE AND NUTS
        FROM THE LOST CHERREES
for agreeing to back me and Deb, just for this benefit gig and so we can have a taste of nostalgia.
We haven’t played together as this line up for over 25 years and we only had two rehersals together! I left the keyboards at home
and sang my heart out! SID AND ZILLAH FROM RUBELLA BALLET for giving us such a good deal on the filming and ensuring
a high standard and quality was maintained throughout. ALL YOU LOVELY PEOPLE for turning up to lend your support and
give us your money. TREV ACTIVE SLAUGHTER for designing the respite nights website and very generouosly donating his fee
to the charities. GENE & THE GAFF MUSIC VENUE for being so professional and ensuring the evening ran smoothly and giving
us excellent value for money. I look forward to organising the next event- watch this space for details. A big thankyou to JANE
        FROM PHOENIX
and CAROLINE FROM ACCURO for doing such excellent speeches and raising the awarenesss for their
charities and for turing up and paying full entry to support us! they were both nervous about coming to a punk gig, but had
the best time and said how friendsly everyone was - they'd never met such friendly people!

We managed to raise a total of £650 to be split between the two charities- £325 each
